Dear DSU Students and Friends,
We know you are inundated with Covid-19 information and please know that your health and safety are our priority. We encourage you to review CDC recommendations. Please visit https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prepare/get-your-household-ready-for-COVID-19.html for more information. Unlike many other higher education institutions, DSU is and has always been online, so there should be no major changes to your learning experience.
We know that this situation can be very disruptive to your work and home life. Please know that our advisors can work with you to adjust your studies, whether that means adding classes as you work from home or pausing classes as your workload becomes more complex. The flexibility you've always had with our coursework will continue.
As conferences are cancelled, please reach out to DSU for information regarding CEUs to maintain good standing with your certification status. DSU hopes to offer additional content in the coming weeks to fill some of the gaps.
While all faculty are remote, we encourage both faculty and student to be flexible as we all navigate the new normal. Faculty should reach out to Dr. Barron should they have specific questions regarding timelines or grading.
At this point in time, our small staff is maintaining best practices in our office location. We will announce any staffing or communication protocols if that changes.
In the meantime, we hope that you and your family and friends maintain safe practices and remain well.
